They have carefully selected material to cater for a wide range of musical tastes – (pop to rock) from the 60’s right up to the present day. It doesn’t matter what age group you fit into, you should enjoy listening to and watching 4$um. The whole set is delivered with 110 percent energy – guaranteed! Text Box: The History After several name and line-up changes the current 4$um was formed in 2001 – (originally they were called 4Play but were forced to change the name as 4Play was already taken) Since then they have enjoyed entertaining audiences from all over the South of England. The current band members were very carefully selected – the criteria - must look/act professional, there can be no egos and no one is allowed to take it too seriously. Our motto ~ If we enjoy then so will you. The main objective is for 4$um to give its audience a night to remember by having a really good time. This is the main reason why so many clients request us again and recommend us to others. Although 4$um are a 3 piece band that consists of the usual Guitar, Bass and Drums we also include (for some tracks) some programmed Keyboard parts (our virtual 4th member of the band) – this allow us to play a much wider range of songs that some bands cannot offer. We are serious about our sound quality and ensure that the volume levels are clear and at the right level for the venue size. We often get asked why we are called 4$um, that’s simple – it’s because there are 3 of us! Text Box: Band Members All 4$um members are experienced musicians and have played in many professional bands previously. These include well know Dorset bands such as “Killing Moon” (Original’s Rock Band), “Zilch” (Covers Band), “All and the Moonies” (Covers Band), “Quark” (Covers Band), and bands from further a-field such as “Bustin Loose” (Jazz/Funk Originals Band) and “Tuxedo Junction” (22 Piece Big Band). How Are 4$um Different All 4$um members take turn with lead vocals allowing us to play a wider range of songs.
